Markets are tanking, metals losing as much as 4%, crude down 7%, Ruble off 16%, most commodity funds seriously down 4 and 5%. Something big is up, probably connected directly to this Ukraine misadventure and the ill advised sanctions against Russia. Ben Bernanke's huge fear was deflation and said it was to be avoided whatever it took. Maybe today's market is just a fluke, we'll soon see.
