Ukraine forces are now successfully using the US supplied VAMPIRE anti drone systems against the Russian drones and the Iranian supplied drones. These devices are portable, need no runway to launch and is also capable of jamming and redirecting the Russian fired drones.WSJ, Reuters
Is Ukraine going to defeat Russia? Your opinion?
I don’t know about a total defeat but they are apparently willing to take it all the way. My concern is that Putin now really has no realistic way to extract Russia from this without losing face. Let’s realize that this little jaunt by putin is now into the 6th month. He made a really bad miscalculation. Striking the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in The Crimea was a wake up call of major proportions for putin. Both sides have lost a hell of a lot for sure but commitments by Ukraine allies have already been signed and agreed to for the rebuilding effort that’s gonna be badly needed but yet to know the full extent of what will be needed.
Surely Russia has the armed forces to obliterate Ukraine. I have to wonder if Putin is taking it slow for a reason. Maybe he is enjoying putting the NATO countries which are already insolvent into worse insolvency. Our economies are tanking and Russia is prospering. The ruble is welcome lots of places and has gained over 100% against the western countries. Russia is taking in more foreign cash than before all this leaky embargo. My biggest concern is that we are spending money we don't have to prop up a nasty government that has corrupted our politicians with under the table money that my kids are going suffer from when this country (USA) goes financially belly up.
We have no national security interest in this war or in NATO. Russia ain't the Russia of the 1960s. If we would just get out of the way this whole thing would settle quickly but I'm sure the NWO folks and the central bankers that have their eye on the huge prize of Russia aren't going to let their political lackeys just turn this loose.
Einstein or somebody said they knew not what weapons WW3 would be fought with but WW4 would be fought with sticks and stones. We might ought to remember how the Grande Armee and the Wehrmacht fared except this time the Russians have access to China and India, all nuclear armed.
