Europe is getting a strong handle on weaning itself from Russian gas with storages at 85% level and more contracts being signed for LNG with many supplier nations. Natural gas prices though still very expensive are down by 1/3 from the peak. Favorable weather, conservation is working to Europe’s favor as well as the restarting of coal fired and nuclear generation units that are in constant motion.
