I read that Putins O&G profits alone are up over 40% YTD. The ruble is stronger today than this time last year and Europe is about to freeze death.

I’m no fan of Putin but to anyone that can dispense with the emotion and just look at the facts can see that all the sanctions that the West put in place has not had the effects they anticipated. The West has effectively sanctioned themselves. Instead of making Russia suffer for their special military action in Ukraine they have decreased the food, oil, natural gas, etc available to Europe and significantly increased the cost of those necessities.
