There is an entire area in Theology dealing with your questions which is called "the Problem of Evil". Answers are called Theodicies.
We all physically die one day. Death is not the end of life. We place far to much importance on physical life. God is omniscient and knows the fuller perspective of why bad things happen.
It boils down to we MUST trust God's full knowledge.
