Interestingly enough, Ehrman’s problems with ‘The Bible’ are ‘not’ what caused him to lose his Christian faith, and he’s made that very clear. He lost his faith because of his inability to reconcile the pain and suffering and injustice in the world with a good and loving God. slumlord is in good company when he questions “God’s Purpose” regarding such.
