God (insert your version here) has proven time and again that when it comes to all of us, he is not only indifferent, but often times cruel...
I can certainly understand how some could hold that viewpoint and perspective. I don’t know His ‘purpose’, for allowing pain and suffering...I struggle with it...but I don’t think He orchestrates it.
We have proven time and again that ‘we’ also are indifferent and cruel when it comes to others. We can be pretty callous in our relationships with one another, and with God...though hardships often make us aware of how much we need each other. Maybe they should also make us aware of how much we need God...?
Maybe God has already revealed His reasons for not always intervening and that we simply haven't paid close enough attention to them...?
Sure he's revealed them; He gave us CHOICE...There can be no other explanation, other than he doesn't exist....
