How do you know for certain that when you make a decision to do something according to your "free will" it's not God causing you to make that decision?

I would be one of those believers but also think God is sovereign over everything. Nothing has happened or will happen that He does not predestine.

Do we understand why He does what He does? No, will never happen. Who are we compared to the God who created the universe by speaking it into existence to ever understand His ways.

I'm a Christian as well. I also believe in predestination. I also believe in free will and I do not believe they contradict each other. I realize some Christians disagree with that. I'm not a Calvinist.
