Ah, you have the question wrong. This is not talking back. We not only should, but we MUST ask exactly that question of God. It is a responsibility assigned to us by Him. We learn God's nature by studying His work, not just in abstract, but in our lives and in our selves. That is precisely the question we MUST ask, not from arrogance, but from humility, to learn his purpose for us.
