Killing innocent people, regardless of one’s motivation...whether a Muslim, a ‘Christian’, an unbeliever, or an atheist...still results in innocent people bein’ murdered. The atheists Stalin and Mao likely killed way more than all of the Crusades put together did. Were the Crusaders harsh and brutal murderers...? Yes.
