I do not assume anything about the Apostles.
If you “do not assume anything” about Jesus’ disciples, then why would you assume anything about me...?
I don't assume, I ask. But you have got to admit that your opaqueness doesn't inspire confidence.
I'm willing to put everything out there, not because I'm "holier" but because I'm willing to examine the ideas and I believe The Church is correct because Christ promised it would be. In the end, it boils down to faith that Christ was whom he said He was/is and that He meant what He said and that His promises are fulfilled. I don't have all the answers. Christ does.
