Likely makes some wonder what kind of Christianity the first, second, and third century Christians believed and practiced before ‘The Bible’ ever came into existence in the fourth century. Christianity made some great strides in the 280-somethin’ years before ‘The Bible’ even existed.

The early Christians varied greatly, especially regarding the belief on the nature of Jesus. There was at least 60 gospels that we know of, probably many more. The sects couldn't agree if he was god, man, both, both, but at different times, or just an apparition, to name but a few. They also had difference on works vs. faith, following the law, and even disagreed upon if the Gods of the old and New Testament could even be the same God or not.
