Saul of Tarsus was a very active, dedicated murderer and imprisoner of Christians, whether they were man, woman or child. His name struck fear into anybody on his hit list. He enjoyed his "work" and did it with zeal. God spoke to him and in an instant he became Jesus' greatest disciple and changed his name to Paul. We would have a hard time with this in our way of thinking, but God always has a plan even though we can never understand it in our feeble minds. Anybody that tells you they fully understand God's mind and plans, run away...... they are a liar, nut, or a crook. Jesus never promised life would be fair, beautiful, or lack tragedy, but he did promise it in our afterlife if we accept him as our savior.
