Some ‘Christians’ gravitate to verses such as this...to the neglect of verses such as “As I have loved you, so you must love one another” or “When you do these things to the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you do them to Me.” They seem to think they are the only one’s going to Heaven, and relish the thought that everyone else is going to hell.

Evidently the will of God, to some, includes labeling and badging oneself as a “Christian”, as opposed to simply seeing oneself as a ‘disciple’ (follower, pupil)...the term Jesus Himself used for His followers.
