How Theologically correct is it to believe that Satan engineers tragedies and hardships to turn us against God by creating unbelief and despair?
We are told that the devil has come down to us in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short. I do believe that the power and presence of sin and evil in this world is real. But I do not believe any perspective that places sin/evil/Satan in a position of higher power than the power of our Creator.
