It seems that there is a tendency to focus on love alone, judge God based on a human understanding of love and disregard every other aspect of God’s being and character. God is love alone and by definition God would be far greater than our conceptual and perfect in his being. It appears to me that you judge God as you would a mere mortal.
There's no good evidence the Bible was written by anything other than mere mortals.
Please see my previous comments regarding the idea that we are not allowed to judge the writings of these mortals and why it's the single worst believe held by all god believers, including Christians.
