I actually went shopping with the intent to buy a Strom 650. Then discovered the massive discounts of the leftover 18's so went that route instead. No doubt the 650 is extremely capable and outsells the 1000. But the "good deal" and the need for speed overrode my ability to keep logic in the buying process.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
