Good question.

I myself never measured my own lean angle, but in the Hill Country there’s a 40mph curve I know well that I used to scrape footpeg feelers regularly at 80 on that Ninja. Sharpest corner I ever took was at the ‘95 BMW Nationals outside of Silverton on the inside lane of a marked 20mph turn in the Rockies. With them red-shirted Dust Bowl Beemers on my tail I was leaned over so hard that looking up to my left as far around the turn as I could, all I could see was more of the turn about twenty feet in front of me.

I figure the current Harley Sportster Roadster is about minimum, since every Sportster I ever rode with back then ((OK, both of ‘em) ran out of cornering clearance. Harley gives the roadster 29 degrees both sides.

My Sportster (05 Roadster) was ok on the left, dragged the muffler clamp on the right. Dragged engine cases on the 81 Honda 900f. 84 VF500F seemed to have plenty. The Lowrider is far more leisurely.
