Common among girls back was the scar from the muffler burn just above the ankle, usually gotten when they were getting off of the bike while wearing shorts. One woman out there has a backwards “K” branded on from the raised logo on the Ninja muffler. Nother time one wore whatever we called those thick soled go-go type boots back then and rested her feet ON the mufflers. Couldn’t smell the melting plastic until we stopped.
