I have been looking at the Suzuki and Honda 650's. They need a 6th gear and they need to set lower. The Dual sports are made for guys with a 40" inseams.

The DR650 isn't too tall at factory height and it's simple to lower it further. It's fine but a bit buzzy on the freeway, and no real stock wind protection. The stock suspension is primitive, with lots of front end brake dive. I recently put in some Ricor Intiminators in the forks which seem to help a bit. May need to do something about the rear shock, too. Farkling continues.
