Bergman? Please........I drove one once and thought it was girlie. It didnt magically transform me into wanting to purchase one. I had no desire to own one before the test ride and non afterward.
As far as riding a bike to Alaska you could do it on any bike built. The Alaska highway is totally paved except if they are doing construction on it. Last time I drove it we were in a 35 foot RV pulling a 16 foot trailer so I am sure any motorcycle capable of highway speeds would work. The last time I drove from the lower 48 to Alaska on a bike it was on a big fat Goldwing. Not one issue in 4,500 miles.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
