A buddy had a Honda CBR 1000 Hurricane of that same era, silver grey. Very much the same genre, great bike, he used to haul his girlfriend all over. I think that was before the newfangled fully-faired sportbikes of that era morphed into full on repliracers.
Yeah,...those big sport touring bikes were worth having. The current Yamaha FJ1300 is about the only bike left that still fits that category.
Concours is an azz kicker as well. Owned a 2013 model. You had better be paying attention if you decided to open the throttle up the entire way in 1st or 2nd.
