Yeah, man.................I really like those, but per the OP's original request, I'd not like riding 2-up on either, cross-country at 80 all day.

The 1100 Katana was actually one of the better bikes I've ever owned for 2 up riding. It has sport bike styling, but it's too large, and long to be a sport bike. The ergonomics were fairly relaxed and after putting a Corbin seat on it (I've bought a few Corbin seats) It was good for as long as I felt like riding it. (back then,...not today) I hauled a few women around on it back when.
I had it when my current wife came to visit me for the first time. We spent the day out riding around central KY.
I recall she had on a flimsy tank top kind of thing with no bra and her left titty kept blowing out of the arm hole. Trucks on the Mountain Parkway kept tooting their horns at us.
I thought they were being jerks. Neither me nor my wife realized that her titty had come loose.
Years ago a guy I used to work with (he was a tool & die marker, also) and his wife rode down to the KY/Barley lakes and back one especially hot, sunny summer day on his motorcycle. Round trip with a few goofing off miles while there totaled around 250 or so.
He wore just cut-off jeans and no shirt, she a skimpy halter-top and 'Daisy Dukes'. When they got back home that evening neither could hardly move, they were blistered and hurting so bad from sun and wind burn . His was so bad he missed a few days work.
