Mine was a ‘93 GS/PD. I still have nightmares.

What was even worse was the ‘94, the last of the old-school R bikes. It only came in jet black with chromed crash bars, people were calling it the Batcycle. I think by then BMW was suffering paroxysms of guilt, and made it so ugly so no one would buy it.
