I own three 7mm-08s, and two each of 308s and .243s. The 7mm-08 has significently more recoil than the .243 but certainly not punishing. My Rem. Mod 7 in 7mm-08 is the rifle I reach for most often. Light, sweet, responsive, weather resistant, short range or long range. It does it all.
