I made no claims as to what happened after 500 yards and even stated that after 300 yards the difference was negligible which means that it doesn't matter. Your stating that some other load of 7mm-08 equals the .308 at 770 yards only reemphasizes what I said about there being a negligible difference. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.
