My point was, is, and will be that there ain't no practical diff between the two.

You can ride your 162-gn AMax (or whatever it is)as hard as you want, but the fact was, is, and will be that the whole logical basis for your position, and that's being generous, is stupid. Nobody is worried about how the 7mm-08 stacks up against the .308 for hunting at extreme range. That ain't the question. You seem too dumb to realize that, or too dug into your position.

So tell us again how a little more energy at extreme range, a few inches less drop at extreme range, a little more wind-bucking at extreme range, matters one bit in normal hunting?

Cause I'm not debating that those things are not TRUE; you are correct about their existance. But the truly hilarious thing is- WE ALL KNOW THAT ALREADY! AND WE DON'T GIVE A [bleep], CAUSE THEY DON'T MATTER FOR PRACTICAL PURPOSES!
