But if you're hunting in a place that is a 250 mile round trip from the nearest Wal-Mart and maybe a 400 mile RT from the nearest stocking gun dealer, being able to find 308 ammo at WM might be a factor worth considering. I've run out of 308 ammo while culling and have had to drop by the local WM to buy a few boxes of 150 grain factory loads so that I could finish the job.
