My last go with the 162 Amax, that no one shoots, was an average of 2660 fps via 40gr R15/Fed210 with zero pressure signs. I have no doubt I can safely clip 2700.


As a test, I think you need to send that rifle and those loads up to me. I am betting at 7200 feet they are hitting 2700 as is.... or I could get off my lazy azz and find out for myself. grin


The only time I've been past 7200 ft was in an airplane.
