3300 sounds a bitt stiff. Are you not getting any stiff bolt lift or cratered primers with that load????


Nope ... no pressure signs at that speed ... I did try a couple of loads with each bullet that were above the powder charge that got me to 3300, and they started to show pressure signs ...

Temp was about 68F with approx. a 5mph wind ... had the chrono about 12' away from the muzzle, and shot my .22lr over it 6 times in a row to verify that it was reading properly ... it read an avg. of 1235 fps for the .22lr, so I know it was reading properly.

I have to admit, I was shocked to see those speeds, but when there were NO pressure signs working up to 3300, I didn't worry about it one bit ...
