It was Rick Jamison who sued Winchester/olin over the WSM line of cartridges. He was a gunwriter.
I think he wrote for Shooting Times Magazine, but that was before I got into the industry. I think I heard that one of the reasons he left Shooting Times was because of the fallout from the lawsuit.
