The western convoy split up and took two routes, hwys 11 and 17. They were supposed to be converging again at North bay today. Last we heard they are still probably three hours out from our overnight at Arnprior and yet people have already been lining up outside on the roadways and standing on overpasses. Fires are going and the flags are waving. It’s -25 out and people are willing to freeze for hours for this. Every day, I get more excited and more inspired. I’m mostly at a loss for words everyday as I drive by seeing all this support and like many, no longer feeling alone in this. To feel pride for your nation again that you thought was gone for good… it’s a beautiful thing.
