We feed deer as well, the soup kitchen was especially busy this year with the drought as our irrigated hay and cornfields were the only deal going. A green magnet.

Between the deer and grasshoppers we've spent +$50k on hay to make up for the loss. The guy that chops our silage corn couldn't believe the damage.

Real fun summer!

$50K damn Sam, I would declare war and shoot every one.... I spent $3 on a bag of carrots...

I'm betting grasshoppers deserve 80% of the blame.
