What REALLY sux: This farm has been longterm leased for solar.
My good friend from childhood I and others have been playing, camping and hunting this farm all of our lives.
His non-farming aunt is the only remaining sibling of the owners[his grandfather then father, uncle & aunt owned it jointly]. Originally just over 1,000 acres[now we hunt 600+] with about 1-2 miles of Little River frontage[floatable].
The solar company leased it 2 years back and also bought the timber rights at high prices. We think that is what is holding up the start[low current timber prices]. Just hoping this wasn't the last year to hunt it.
