Made getting back into waterfowl hunting a goal for this year. Scouting a large public lake I could see white poles across the lake thru my bino's. Google earth showed an old trail and I was able to figure out how to get into the spot. I have no idea when this was put up as the fabric has all long rotted away. No old hulls or garbage around. The site was well looked after when in use.



It turned into a pretty good afternoon shoot on back to back days. The 4 1/2 month old pup got a few shot bird retrieves in and did well. The older dog is just intense when it comes to bird hunting. Hopefully our warm fall stays a bit longer as I would like to get a few more hunts in this location in this year.
