Farming/ranching can be brutal at times. My middle son was out checking cows on the 4-wheeler a few years ago and hit a washout. Stuck his bone out of his arm. Took a 9" stainless plate and a whole bunch of screws to put it back together. Lost a lot of skin off the left side of his face too. He was a sore boy for a couple weeks.
