Had one come from across a field turkey hunting about 10 or 11 years ago about 300 yds out Had something fairly large flopping in its mouth . Got about 75 yds out before I realized it was a dead fawn still wet dark and slick from being born. Fuuking yote sensed something and broke off left about 50 yds out. Carry 4 buck with me now if get the time to put one in the SG. Kill everyone of the sunsabytches I see now if I can get the shot on it. Didn't see any this year . Yr prior seen 3 deer hunting was able to kill one with the mod 70 ot6. Barnes 180 ttsx fuuuks up yotes.
Have had em within 5 or 6 ft of me turkey hunting coming into calling out of the blue. Hard to get a shot on em at that distance making a move on em. Have killed 4 since no mercy policy. Each killed during deer season with the mod 70. Ain't been able to kill one during turkey with a SG yet. Probably about 10 couldn't get a shot on for various reasons of not being able to get on them fast enough or in too tight to get a gun up.
