I ain't seen squat fall turkey hunting so far.
Going to another area open on saturday.
Very dry conditions down here.
Bad really Hope I can find sign of birds hitting water in this place on satutday.
Get a good idea how to set up next couple days.
Fall turkey hunting is a totally new game to me.
Water water water right now in these dry conditions is the only tactic I can think to try and exploit on some birds. They gotta get gravel and drink...

Turkey forum has been postless for 2 days. I think everybody just decided to take a break from the shyt stain for a spell. So he's branched out into the small game and general big game forums a bit. You know............to disrupt at a 2nd grade level there.
Fall turkeys ??? Food source. Food source. FOOD SOURCE !!!
You have wild grapes in your area ?? Dogwood berries ?? Acorns ??? Look there. Also.....you can get WAY ahead of the curve if you're in the woods by 7:00 or so. Lotsa times they'll get rowdy and mouthy at flydown time. Gives away their location nicely.

1st 2 days I hunted 9A birds were in a cut soybean field in 9B about 7 800 yds from me . Stream down their about 200 yds in the woodline. It was frustrating seeing em out their. Cant leave areas your assigned too. Some old sign in 9A those 1st days dust pits and tracks. Was hoping they would wander over. 2nd morning heard faint tree yelping behind me. Next 2 times I was covering ground, the woods are barren of water.
Stream in 16 where I'm gonna go saturday and just on other side is all Ky farm land fields. I gotta find water source with sign in 16 and go from their. See what I can find or hear in the morning tommorow. 👍👍👍
