The one that got away. 4 years ago I caught this beauty nearing dusk. Put it on one of those metal snap chain stringers, threw it in the water and staked the end down. The bass lunged a couple times and I saw the stake was going to hold. I continued to cast and I'll be damned if that sob lunged a 3 time and off it swam back for another day.
But I have the picture to prove it. It weighed 14.6lb
