Wife was always amazed 1st couple years at events and formal schit. High ranking Nco,s and O,s coming up to me talking old units and catching up on schit. She grew used to that. Got the you know everyone for gawds sakes.
She enjoyed meeting guys old ladies and hearing stuff about me and whoever when they was a peer, PSG, Lt, or old CO of mine.
It was a good life. I wouldn't change a thing honestly looking back on it all. Being around here I run into cats alot. Always good to talk and catch up.
