Surveying's an art form here. None of that trivial quarter corner B.S.

We got pine knots, staubs, draws, ridges, creeks, "old roads", "older roads" and the fenceline as it existed before the new fence.

Chains, poles, rods. Quadrant based direction. Ordinal based. Azimuths.

When you do deed retracements, you need to think like an 1850's farmer.


The only time Public Land Surveys get interesting is when someone screwed up a monument. wink
