To the best of my recollection that is a B-50 which is nothing more than an up-engined B-29. Was stationed at Kadena, Okinawa during the Korean War, part of a nuke squadron.

Dad was in maintenance at the time, may have been the crew chief, not sure about that. The bird was one of his favorites...don't know how the name came to be.
