Not much changes in Old Mex, worked a deal with some roadcrew guys to come grade an area next to the garage to park the boat, for Wed morning. There are a couple other Gringos in the village so went tues afternoon to get a fishing report/visit. Get back to the house and the roadcrew guys decided to do us a favor and run their Cat over the area that afternoon, tore out all the waterline from the well to the garage, buried it so we wouldn't see, idiots. Climb into the well and 4 hours of fixing the next morning. Launch the boat at 11:00 and one battery is fried, need one for each motor. Two hours later start fishing and my buddy starts puking, drop him off in the shallows and he wades in with all the stingrays darting away from him..... shuffle your feet....

Head back out, stop to catch bait and after quite a few rock bass and triggers happen to get a smallish Halibut, good eats...

Break a grouper off first and second drop, no more bites. The yellowtail are going crazy on the top so we end the day with some fast action and keep one.

Ate Halibut the first night.

Second day, thursday, the wind was big and so was the water, went out for a couple hours, missed two grouper bites, the yellowtail were still active so caught a couple and tossed them back, headed in. Just worked all day today and then headed home at 2:30, 6 hour drive home.

Eats on the second day, yellowtail and steak on the barby. And yes I made the salsa plus cooked.... my wife keeps me around for something....
