Props are OK, so are rotors. You'll notice in this picture the rotors did not fail. It was a Blue Max Snake that caught a Strella missile near Con Thon, RVN, June of '72. Saw it happen and both crewman survived w/o serious injury. Contrary to the painting, there were no clouds. There was a white exhaust trail from the launch site upon which Hell itself rained a few moments later.
