I have a pertinent on topic question that Hawk might be able to answer. Expert opinions only please.

What'd think she's runnin' for PSI in them puppies? They look maxed out.

Are the pointy things a pressure indicator, a relief valve or an inflation fitting?

Are they self-sealing in case of a sudden pressure drop?

Is the sweater some kind of a contaiment safety feature?

You can't see the green capped valve stems, but there is 85 psi (cold) with hydrogen to prevent temp fluctuations. "Maxed out" is subjective; most prefer the top end over low pressure, which creates a gravity sag.

You can do whatever you want with the valves, once they are exposed...

Thet are not self-sealing, but can be easily repaired for a nominal fee.

Yes, the sweater is similar to a tire cage. Doing anything outside of them being in that protective shield can cause serious harm, injury or even death.....the worst thing is that you could poke out an eye...

I hope this helps. There are no real professionals when it comes to this technology. Most of us are just happy it has come to fruition for mankind...
