Malwarebytes to remove the PB infection, then picked up AVG Security to replace Norton. An evolution of sorts. The trojan attack associated with PB led to my hard drive crashing and having to reinstall the OS about 2 weeks back. Bastids!
AVG is good, a lot better than Norton.

Had exactly the same thing happen , at exactly the same time DD...when I got the techy to clean up the machine and got it back, I installed AVG 9.0 and it has since circumvented about a half sozen viral attempts from PB..
