Re-read your OP...put your ego in the closet for a while & accept the fact that your old lady doesn't share the same high opinion of you that you have of yourself...she's either got something on the side or has been thinking about this for a while. In either case, if marriage counseling was
YOUR idea & not hers, I wouldn't hold out much hope that it'll have any long term benefits....
