My buddy recently bought a 29" and is liking it. I still have my Trek MTB from the 80's. Planning on upgrading this summer but not sure how I'll go. For one thing, my head injury means my days of technical descents (especially) are DONE. Too risky. So a gravel bike might make more sense than a full-on MTB.

My materials come in tomorrow to start the new biz I've mentioned.... so today I'm beating the [bleep] out of large rounds of wood with a BFH. I've got a helper though!
