It's not surprising given the whole new dynamic that leg is subject to, but that doesn't make it fun. Sorry to hear it, but my prediction is you'll be in the elk mountains this fall.
Might want to hone your cross-canyon shooting skills though. Couple years ago at Steens when my hoof was horked up I was pretty glad I had my heavy 7 WSM w/ Nightforce NSX on it, for the reach. Let my eyes (and an Amax, haha) do the work.
