Serious question for those that have been following this bullshit…..is Russia still “acquiring” new territory through combat in Ukraine or are they defending the territory in the east and the Crimea that they captured early on?
From what I have seen it looks like they’re defending the territory that they captured which was exactly what they set out to do. If they dug in and are defending the territory they captured and are not out taking more territory I don’t see how Ukraine dislodges them to retake that territory, not without a whole lot of interference from NATO and likely full escalation of the war.
It's reasonable to assume that they will NOT be dislodged without a huge escalation.
